NEW Granger book.
ALL EDITIONS
ARE in stock for immediate shipping.
It's been more than twenty years in the making and represents the most up to date information about Goodwin Granger, his company and the rods he built and inspired. Includes the history of Goodwin Granger Company, Wright & McGill Rod Company and Granger Bamboo by Gary Lacey.
The book is 8.5"x11", 360 pages with well over 300 photographs, charts, catalog pages and other illustrations, most in FULL COLOR! Printed throughout on glossy, acid-free 80# paper for the best photographic resolution. The hard cover books are Smyth-sewn - the most expensive and the most durable method for binding books.
Best of all, this book was produced entirely in the United States of America.
Each Granger Rod is treated in its own chapter with the most extensive information about each grade ever published.
And speaking of grades, the book is available in three grades (or editions).
At the top of the line is the Registered Edition, which is bound in genuine black leather with silver foil stamping on the cover and spine. The edges of the pages are silver gilt, and the book has a ribbon page marker included.
Years from now this is the one you
will wish you had bought!
As a limited edition, it is sure to increase dramatically in value. Buy one for now and one to put away till the price goes up on the collectible market!
This edition is limited to only 400 copies and each of these will be signed and numbered. No more books will ever be produced in this edition. If you have a Registered Rod, let me know your rod's serial number and I'll make sure you get the book number that matches your rod. Otherwise, the sooner you order the lower your number will be.
Second in the line is the hardcover DeLuxe Edition. This edition is bound in genuine bonded leather. The caramel color of the leather closely resembles the rich color of Granger cane. The book is decorated with gold foil stamping on the cover and the spine, and gold gilt page edges. A very classy and classic looking book!
The Special Edition is the economy grade. This is a softbound book, but again, the interior is identical to the more expensive editions.
